IT’S ALL BY DESIGN

Every aspect of these extensive renovations is by carefully considered design. Each choice was made with the experience of the resorts well-traveled guests in mind. This amazing feat was undertaken by DIALOG, the Vancouver-based company also responsible for projects like Four Seasons Toronto.

The ski resort debuts it’s 273 rooms and suites inspired by Four Seasons’ iconic and unique location: a secluded retreat only an hour and a half from the bustle and noise of Vancouver. With that in mind, DIALOG took the mountain chalet look and spun it with urban touches, all while ensuring every room is a retreat in itself. The updates include all new furnishing, fixtures, and bespoke additions in guest rooms and suites. The mid-century-inspired furniture throughout is clean, sleek, and warm. Iron, granite, brass, wood, and other natural materials are combined in each room for an experience that is rustic yet refined.

Guests come to Whistler not only to ski, but for the views, and the views they will see. Each room boasts a balcony where guests can take in the scenery from outside and large windows to enjoy them from within. Each room is finished to luxurious and inviting, but the mountains definitely take center-stage.

DO-IT-YOURSELF DRINKS

Four Seasons Resort Whistler is the perfect place to call home between the many activities available on the mountain. No matter if it is hitting the slopes, taking in Whistlers breathtaking wildlife on an early-morning safari, or learning about the rich First Nations history, the renovated rooms are perfect for kicking back after a busy day. Each room features the resorts custom Interior & Tonic experience. In partnership with Okanagan Spirits Craft Distillery, they have introduced a unique gin made exclusively for the resort guests.

The bar set comes complete with Bittered Sling Lillooet Bitters and sparkling tonic. These have been carefully curated by award-winning Vancouver mixologist and sommelier Lauren Mote. Not only do guests get to relax with a handmade gin and tonic, but these drinks will also add just a touch more magic to their day: the botanical gin transforms colour once the tonic and bitters are added. Once guests have had the fun of playing bartender, it is time to settle down and unwind. They can sip their perfectly crafted gin and tonic in front of modern granite fireplaces featured in every room.

SKI MEMORIES MADE

There is a certain amount of nostalgia around winter chalets and classic lodges. The Four Seasons Resort Whistler has been a staple of Whistler Blackcomb for 16 years. These renovations take that classic feel of warm comfort and give new life to a beloved experience. The new look is a display of the dedication the resort has for creating one of a kind, detailed experiences. For the resorts this means elevating the fantastic memories that will be made by its guests to new heights.
